Investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation conducted a search of the apartment in Kharkiv belonging to the mother of the deceased pilot Andrii “Jus” Pilshchikov. These actions are related to the case of Vitaly Shabunin, head of the Anti-Corruption Center. About this reported the pilot’s mother is Lilia Averyanova.
“This is an apartment where a child grew up from birth to a professional pilot, you have to take your hat off to go in there. They (investigators) just call me and confront me with the fact that now we are going to break down your door because we are looking for a criminal here, literally. They told me to come.”, — said Liliya Averyanova.
The woman was in Kyiv at that time. She noted that she “barely stopped them” so that they would not damage the door, because, according to her, “it would be an international scandal.” The entrance to the apartment was opened by a neighbor who had the keys.
“This is an old building. This apartment was not damaged by fascists during that war. It was not broken into by occupiers or looters. But the investigative team had illegal permission to enter this apartment“, Liliya Averyanova notes.
She explained that she did not want to leave the apartment empty. Friends of the family who came to Kharkiv on business sometimes stayed there. Vitaly Shabunin also temporarily lived there. According to the woman, she wanted someone to take care of the house.
“There are many arrivals in the city, there were cases of disconnection of pipes, we flooded neighbors or someone us, because these are emergency situations and it is necessary that someone be “on the hook”. And it is beneficial for me that a trusted person lives in my house. And because of this, you know, no one has to break down my door.”, – said the mother of “Jus”.
She also reported that the investigators had arrived from different cities — in particular, from Kyiv and Poltava. She instructed them not to touch her personal belongings and her son’s belongings.
“They brought me to stress. Now I am admitted to inpatient treatment. Thank you very much for such “respect” and “concern” to those who should have protected me, and not broken into my home. Andriy protected it, protected millions of homes and put his life on it. Shame on those who undertook to do this dirty work.” Liliya Averyanova said.
The SBI explained that they had conducted four searches in the places where Vitaliy Shabunin, the head of the Anti-Corruption Center, lived or temporarily stayed. Among them is the apartment of the deceased pilot Andrii Pilshchikov (Jus) in Kharkiv.
“Employees of the SBI are investigating a criminal proceeding related to fraud and evasion of military service by a serviceman. A number of procedural actions were carried out within the framework of this proceeding. In particular, on July 11, four searches took place in the places where the suspect lived or temporarily stayed. All actions were carried out in strict accordance with the current legislation. This is confirmed by the relevant court decisions.”, – emphasized the spokeswoman of the DBR Tetyana Sapyan.
