The Tax Service and the SFMS received new heads

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to appoint Ruslan Kravchenko as the head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine. At the same time, Philip Pronin was appointed head of the State Financial Monitoring Service. About this reported representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

Ruslan Kravchenko, a native of Severodonetsk, has a law degree from the National University “Law Academy of Ukraine named after Yaroslav the Wise”. His professional path is connected mainly with work in prosecutor’s offices. He worked in various regions of Ukraine, in particular in Sevastopol and Lviv, and also held the position of military prosecutor in the ATO zone in 2014-2015, in particular in Debaltseve and Artemivsk.

Subsequently, he held senior positions in the military prosecutor’s office. Before moving to the executive branch, Kravchenko headed the Buchansk district prosecutor’s office of the Kyiv region from 2021 to 2023. In April 2023, he was appointed head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, where he worked until December 2024.

Philip Pronin is from Kyiv, has two higher educations: in international economics, obtained at KNEU, and law. His professional career is related to combating financial crimes and money laundering. In 2005-2008 and 2010-2017, he already worked at the State Financial Monitoring Service, and also gained experience at the international company KPMG, where he was engaged in financial investigations.

Pronin also worked for a long time at the National Agency for Identification, Search and Asset Management, where he rose from the head of the department to the deputy head of the agency. In October 2023, he became the head of the Poltava Regional State Administration, where he worked until December 2024.
