The Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration has introduced a risk management system in the procurement sector

The Administration of Seaports of Ukraine (AMPU) has started using a system of risk management, monitoring and evaluation of efficiency in the field of procurement. About this informs AMPU press office.

The new system enables automated analysis of tender processes using risk indicators, filters and control parameters. It allows you to detect possible violations at the early stages – even before agreements are concluded or complications arise. Such an internal “x-ray” of procurement is another step in the direction of reducing corruption risks, strengthening transparency and rational use of public funds.

“For AMPU, transparency is not only a declaration, but a daily work that must be supported by tools. The procurement risk management system is an opportunity to see weak points before they become a problem. It is also about responsible management of state resources, fair competition and trust in the state enterprise by business, the public and foreign partners.”, the company emphasized.

All AMPU purchases are currently carried out through the Prozorro electronic system in accordance with current regulations. Implementation of a new risk management system will provide an additional level of control and monitoring.

We will remind that during January – June 2025, the sea ports of Ukraine processed about 40 million tons of cargo. The main share among them was traditionally agricultural products. According to the Ukrainian Grain Association, the harvest of grain and oil crops in 2024 was 9.5% lower than in 2023 and amounted to 75 million tons. At the same time, the data of the State Customs Service for the first quarter of 2025 already reflect a general decrease in the volume of exports of goods by almost 7%.
