The United States declared the ambassador of South Africa persona non grata

The United States of America has declared the ambassador of the South African Republic, Ebrahim Rasool, persona non grata. About this reported US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

“South Africa’s ambassador to the US is no longer welcome in our great country. Ebrahim Rasool is a racist politician who hates America and hates US President Donald Trump.” – said in the statement.

Rubio noted that the United States “has nothing to talk about with him”, so the decision was made to declare Rasul persona non grata. The secretary of state also shared a post on the Breitbart website that quoted Rasool as saying that US President Donald Trump is “leading the movement for white supremacy in America and the world.”

We will remind that on February 6, Rubio refused to participate in the G20 summit held in South Africa, saying that this country is engaged in “very bad things”:

“I will not go to the G20 summit in Johannesburg. South Africa is doing very bad things. Expropriating private property. Using the G20 to promote ‘solidarity, equality and sustainable development.’
