The US House of Representatives voted to continue military aid to Ukraine

The lower house of the US Congress voted to continue providing military aid to Ukraine. About this reported head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak.

“The US House of Representatives voted to continue military aid to Ukraine”, – says the message.

According to Republican congressman Don Bacon, 353 members of the House of Representatives supported this decision, and 76 opposed it. All 76 lawmakers who supported the amendment of Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green to limit aid to Ukraine are representatives of the Republican Party.

At this stage, the draft defense law, which contains provisions on further financing of aid to Ukraine, must be agreed with the relevant document being prepared in the Senate. After agreement, the final text will be put to a vote by both houses of Congress.

It will be recalled that on July 14, US President Donald Trump, during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, confirmed the agreements regarding the further supply of weapons to Ukraine.
