The Verkhovna Rada decided to postpone the increase in taxes for sole proprietors

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted amendments to the Tax Code, which moved the date of entry into force of increased taxes for individual entrepreneurs from October 1, 2024 to January 1, 2025. About this reported People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak. According to his information, draft law No. 9319 was supported by 268 people’s deputies in the second reading.

“It was in it that there was an amendment that corrected the tax bill 11416d and the “back date”, where taxes are transferred from October 1 to January 1, 2025 for FOPs”Zheleznyak noted.

Tax increases have also been postponed for legal entities operating under the simplified taxation system of the third group.

As for the law on increasing taxes, signed by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, it entered into force on December 1. This law provides for an increase in the military levy rate from 1.5% to 5% for all incomes of citizens, and also introduces the mandatory payment of 1% military levy for payers of the simplified taxation system, in particular for sole traders and legal entities of the third group.
