The Verkhovna Rada extended martial law and mobilization for 90 days

Deputies today voted to extend martial law and general mobilization in the country until August 11, 2024

He notes that 339 People’s Deputies voted for the draft law submitted by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi to the Parliament 11234 “On the approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On the extension of martial law in Ukraine”.

It provides for an extension from 5 hours 30 minutes on May 14, 2024 for 90 days.

Also, the parliament voted for another presidential bill 11235 “On approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On extending the period of general mobilization”. It also provides for extending the period of general mobilization for 90 days from May 14, i.e. until August 11.
