The Verkhovna Rada plans to introduce the payment of monetary compensation to military personnel for unused vacations. About this reported people’s deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko.
On March 13, the Verkhovna Rada in the first reading supported the draft law on compensation to military personnel for unused vacation.
“The document provides that servicemen who were unable to use their annual and additional vacations during mobilization will receive monetary compensation for all unused vacation days in the event of dismissal from service.” Honcharenko noted.
It is about draft law No. 11495, which proposes to amend Art. 10-1 of the law “On social and legal protection of military personnel and members of their families”. The document is aimed at guaranteeing the right of military personnel to receive monetary compensation for all unused days of annual basic and additional leave in the event of dismissal from service during martial law.
