Transnistria announced an agreement with Russia to restore gas supplies

On January 15, the head of Transnistria, Vadym Krasnoselsky, said that Russia plans to restore gas supplies to the region in the near future as part of “humanitarian aid.” This is reported by rosZMI.
“Negotiations were held at the level of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. The issue of resuming gas supply to the territory of Transnistria was discussed. Technical details have not yet been specified, but gas supply for the needs of the residents of the region and the functioning of the economy will be restored in the form of humanitarian and technical assistance.”, – noted Krasnoselskyi
According to him, the volume of gas will be determined according to the needs of the region. The exact date of the start of deliveries has not yet been announced, but the process is already underway. The transit route will be agreed during additional negotiations. Krasnoselsky called on the residents of the region to “suffer a little.” He also expressed his willingness to meet with the President of Moldova, Maya Sandu, to discuss energy supply issues.
We will remind that Krasnoselsky was in Moscow from January 10 to 14, where he held negotiations on the possible restoration of gas supplies.
