Trump introduced his own mobile operator and a new smartphone in a gold case

US President Donald Trump presented his own mobile operator Trump Mobile and a new smartphone in a gold case. About this informs The Guardian.

This move was another stage in the development of his business empire, which is now headed by his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. The presentation of the project took place on June 16, the day of the 10th anniversary of the start of Trump’s election campaign in 2015.

The new mobile operator will offer a tariff plan for $47.45 per month — a symbolic amount, since Trump is the 47th president of the United States. In addition, in September 2025, the company plans to launch the T1 smartphone in a gold case with an engraving of the American flag.

The smartphone will run on the Android 15 operating system, equipped with a 6.8-inch screen, a 50-megapixel camera and a 5,000 mAh battery. Its price will be $499, which is about three times cheaper than the new iPhone, but the device is positioned as a premium product due to its design. The T1 model will also have a headphone jack, which most manufacturers have already removed from their devices.

Trump Mobile’s service claims that its coverage matches the level of the leading US carriers Verizon, AT\&T and T-Mobile, which control almost the entire US mobile market. According to Donald Trump Jr., the company plans to expand services: from telemedicine to 24-hour roadside assistance and unlimited messages to more than 100 countries. The implementation of the project is carried out through licensing agreements, which have already brought Trump more than $8 million in 2024.
