Trump is in talks with China over TikTok

US President Donald Trump is in talks with China over TikTok as Washington seeks to broker a sale of the popular app. About this informs Reuters.
The US president spoke about this on board Air Force One, but did not disclose the details of the negotiations. Immediately after taking office, Trump signed an executive order that gave TikTok 75 days to find a solution. During this period, ByteDance had to sell TikTok to an American firm or face a total ban in the US.
We will remind that in January, Trump said that he would like the United States to get 50% of TikTok through a joint venture with other companies. In addition, he initiated the creation of a US sovereign wealth fund that could participate in negotiations on the future of TikTok.
Also, after an absence of more than 25 days, TikTok recently reappeared in the App Store and Play Store in the US.
