US President Donald Trump stated about the intention to invite the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi to the White House.
According to him, he will invite the Ukrainian president to the White House, adding that “we want to end the war in Ukraine.”
“I think there is a big difference between Zelenskyi’s last visit to the Oval Office, this is a complete ceasefire, which Ukraine agreed to, and I hope Russia will agree too,” – said Trump.
We will remind that on February 28, Zelenskyi already visited Washington, where he met with Trump in the White House. However, their communication with journalists turned into a dispute. Trump reacted sharply to Zelenskyi’s words that Russia’s war against Ukraine will have consequences for the United States as well.
This quarrel led to a series of subsequent events: Washington decided to suspend military aid to Ukraine and stopped the exchange of intelligence between the countries.
