Trump said that the Russian Federation struck Kyiv “at a very bad time”

US President Donald Trump criticized Russia’s night strikes on Kyiv, noting that the attack was carried out “at a very unfortunate time.” He also once again called for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
“I’m not happy with the Russian strikes on Kiev. It’s unnecessary and very bad timing. Vladimir, stop! 5,000 soldiers are dying every week. Let’s make a peace agreement!” – said Trump’s message on the Truth Social platform.
We will remind that on the night of April 24, Russia launched a massive missile-drone attack on Ukraine, launching 215 air targets of various types. The main blow fell on Kyiv, where one of the residential blocks suffered significant damage.
Air defense forces shot down 112 enemy objects. In particular, 7 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, 31 Kh-101 cruise missiles, 6 Kalibr missiles, 4 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided air missiles and 64 Shahed attack drones were destroyed.
Currently, it is known about 8 people who died as a result of the attack on the Sviatoshyn district of the capital, and an unidentified body part was also found. The total number of victims is 77 people, of which 26 adults and 5 children are in medical facilities.
