UK presents training strategy for Ukrainian military in 2025

In the United Kingdom, an international conference of partners in the framework of the multinational operation Interflex reviewed plans to train the Ukrainian military for 2025. This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on its Facebook page.
‘An international partner conference dedicated to planning the training of the Ukrainian military for 2025 was held in the UK as part of Operation Interflex. This conference has become a platform for providing real-time updates on the mission, discussing upcoming changes to the basic infantry course and leadership courses, and identifying those parts of the mission that require additional support and cooperation from international partners,’ the General Staff said.
It is noted that representatives of the ground operations centre, defence attachés, international cooperation officers and other authorised delegates joined the discussion, who had the opportunity to represent the interests of their countries regarding further participation in Operation Interflex in 2025.
The General Staff stressed that the presence of all invited parties allowed the Interflex Headquarters to plan preparatory activities for the next year in more detail and identify priority areas of cooperation.
It was also noted that the Ukrainian Defence Attaché to the UK presented information on the situation at the frontline and the needs that will help improve the quality of training of Ukrainian military in the fight against Russian aggression. The Commander of Operation Interflex, Colonel Andy Boardman, outlined the existing plans and opportunities for further training of Ukrainian servicemen in the UK.
Representatives of the partner countries participating in the operation discussed the implementation of the proposed changes and the best methods of training Ukrainian military for 2025.
Summing up the event, the participants stressed the importance of improving the training of the Ukrainian military to meet the requirements of modern combat conditions, and the partner countries confirmed their readiness to assist in this.
