Ukraine became the leader of the 15th region of the International Association of Women in the Police: Ministry of Internal Affairs

During the 61st Conference of the International Association of Women in the Police (IAWP), a meeting of the General Assembly took place, at which the results of the activities of the previous board were summed up and the end of its mandate was announced. Julia Yeger, the new president of MAZHP, as well as heads of regions were officially introduced. “It is an honor for me to lead the 15th region. The chairmanship of Ukraine on the international arena will provide an opportunity to strengthen cooperation, exchange experience and create new initiatives to support and develop the role of women in law enforcement agencies.”– said the official.
As part of the conference, she held the first meeting of the 15th region, which was attended by police officers from Ukraine, Kosovo, Serbia and Moldova. Pavlichenko expressed hope that the number of representatives in the region will grow, and the activity of members will increase due to involvement in affiliated and individual membership.
The Deputy Minister also held a meeting with the newly appointed president of the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Culture, Julia Yeger, where they discussed further plans for the development of the 15th region, as well as the experience of Ukraine. Special attention was paid to the role of women in law enforcement during the war.

I emphasize our readiness to continue our joint work to strengthen the voice of female law enforcement officers at the international level.”, – concluded Kateryna Pavlichenko.
