Ukraine calls on Israel and Hezbollah to avoid a large-scale war

Israel and Hezbollah must take steps to avoid the outbreak of a large-scale regional war, exercising maximum restraint. About this reported The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in its Telegram channel.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed concern over Israel’s decision to launch a limited ground operation on the territory of Lebanon.

In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep concern over the growing number of refugees and internally displaced persons in Lebanon who were forced to flee their homes due to hostilities.
The ministry emphasized the importance of avoiding civilian casualties and the need to comply with the norms of international humanitarian law.
“It is necessary to stop the violence in the region as soon as possible. Peace and stability in Lebanon is the key to peace for the entire Middle East”, – added the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
