Ukraine carried out a massive attack on Crimea with drones

On the night of February 26, the temporarily occupied Crimea suffered a massive attack by Ukrainian drones, explosions rang out in various areas of the peninsula. This is reported by rosZMI.
Loud sounds were recorded in Kerch, near the Saka military airfield, in Dzhankoya and the Sevastopol area. It was also reported about the temporary blocking of traffic on the Crimean Bridge. According to local media, attack drones flew over Dzhankoy in the direction of the village of Krasnoarmiiske, planes took off from the Belbek airfield, and air defense was extremely active.
“The loud sounds that were heard are regular air defense equipment that intercepted and destroyed 4 UAVs over the Black Sea at an altitude of almost 1.5 kilometers at a considerable distance from the coast,” – explained Sevastopol Governor Mykhailo Razvozhaev.
He also said that “everything is under control” and called on residents to “remain calm”, although the drone attack was still ongoing. At the same time, local channels reported explosions near the Belbek airfield, where air defense was operating.
Loud noises were also heard near the Saka airfield, which Russia uses for military purposes. Eyewitnesses reported explosions and the firing of large-caliber weapons. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that 83 drones were shot down during the attack.
