Ukraine launches weapons marketplace for the military

An arms marketplace is being launched in Ukraine, which aims to simplify and speed up the supply of weapons for the military. At the initial stage, it will work with FPV drones, and in the future it will cover other types of drones, electronic warfare and robotic complexes. About this reported Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov.
“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, on the initiative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, adopted a resolution that scales the DOT-Chain digital platform for the provision of weapons. Together with the Defense Procurement Agency and DOT – the State Rear Operator, we are implementing DOT-Chain Defense – a weapons marketplace that radically changes the approach to provision.” – says the message.
Umerov explained that the military will be able to independently order the necessary items in accordance with their tasks, and will also be able to see exactly what, from whom and when it will be delivered.
“This is more accurate planning, less bureaucracy, faster delivery. AOZ will work with the market so that the military receives a quality product on time.”, he noted.
The head of the ministry added that at the start of the program, the marketplace will cover only FPV drones, but later other types of UAVs, EW devices and robotic systems will be added to it. The official launch of DOT-Chain Defense is scheduled for July, when the first manufacturers and military units will join the platform.
“DOT-Chain Defense was created on the basis of the DOT-Chain system, which has already shortened the food supply cycle by 4 times and transferred most processes to the ‘digital’. We are scaling a solution that works”, Umerov concluded.
