“Ukraine must win this war”: the head of the Federal Council of Germany

The head of the Federal Council of Germany, Manuela Schwezig, made important statements during her official visit to Kyiv

According to message edition of BILD, Schwezyg emphasized the need for Ukraine to win the war with Russia, which has been going on for more than two years.

“This visit and negotiations are an expression of the solidarity of all 16 federal states of Germany with Ukraine“, Shwezig noted.

During the visit, it is planned to hold negotiations at the political and governmental levels. According to Manuela Schwezig, these negotiations and the visit are a manifestation of the solidarity of all 16 federal states of Germany with Ukraine, emphasizing that Russia’s aggressive war should not go unanswered. Shwezyg also emphasizes that her trip to Kyiv is a response to those who try to interfere in the public discourse against supporting Ukraine.

She emphasized that the war in Ukraine cannot remain unanswered, and the visit to Kyiv is a response to attempts to influence public discourse aimed at supporting Ukraine.

Manuela Schwezig has been the head of the Bundesrat since November 2023 and has already gained recognition as an influential figure in German political life. Formally, she has the fourth most important position in Germany, after the chancellor, the head of the Bundestag and the federal president.
