Ukraine offered partners to test their weapons in combat conditions

Ukraine offered international partners the opportunity to test defense products directly on the battlefield. About this stated Deputy Minister of Defense Valery Churkin during the Estonian-Ukrainian defense-industrial forum held in Kyiv.
According to the official, the Ukrainian side is open to creating long-term partnerships within joint ventures.
“Estonia is a true friend of our country, and we should increase industrial cooperation. Among the opportunities offered by Ukraine to international partners is product testing in real combat conditions and the development of long-term partnerships.” Churkin noted.
He also emphasized that among the key needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces are anti-drone technologies and the modernization of existing weapons.
The forum was attended by Minister of Defense of Estonia Hanno Pevkur, Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Herman Smetanin, Director of the Defense Procurement Agency Arsen Zhumadilov, as well as representatives of the defense industry and experts from both countries.
In his speech, Hanno Pevkur emphasized Estonia’s readiness to expand cooperation and technology exchange:
“Estonia is ready to share its experience in the field of IT and digital transformation.”
We will remind that on March 1, 2025, Ukraine offered France to start joint production of weapons, using the income from the frozen assets of the Russian Federation as a potential source of financing.
