Putin proposes that the United States develop rare earth metals in the occupied territories of Ukraine
Vladimir Putin offered foreign partners, in particular the USA, to cooperate in the development of rare earth metals in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This is reported by rosZMI.
Putin said that Russia is ready to involve foreign countries, including the United States, in joint work on the extraction of rare earth metals. According to him, the Russian Federation “has an order of magnitude more resources of this kind than in Ukraine.”
“We would be happy to work together with any foreign partners, in particular with American ones. As for new territories, the same. We are ready to attract foreign partners to the so-called new, our historical territories that have returned to the Russian Federation.” – noted the head of the Kremlin.
We will remind that on February 23, the Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyridenko noted that the total value of rare earth minerals, which are currently located in the territories of Ukraine captured by Russia, is estimated at 350 billion dollars.
