The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced that Ukraine received only 10% of the aid approved by the US Congress for 2024. Zelenskyy emphasized that in situations where Russia carries out active operations in the east, the Ukrainian army is forced to rely on available reserves, special brigades and equipment, which should have already been provided with the support of the United States.
“What to do, for example, when Russia seizes or takes some steps forward in the east? You do your job. You count on reserves. You count on special teams. You count on a certain technique. , which has already been voted on, you know… It’s not funny. But the Congress voted“, the head of state noted.
He emphasized that this is not only a question of finances, but also of bureaucratic delays, logistics and a certain amount of caution.

At the end of April, after several months of delay, Congress resumed aid to Ukraine, passing a support package worth $60.84 billion, of which $23.2 billion is earmarked for the restoration of American stocks that were transferred to Ukraine.
