The state and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine in January 2025 increased by 87.03 billion hryvnias, reaching 7.07 trillion hryvnias. About this informs Ministry of Finance.
As of January 31, 2025, the total state and guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to 7.07 trillion hryvnias, which is equivalent to 168.99 billion US dollars. During the month, the amount of debt increased by 87.03 billion hryvnias in hryvnia equivalent and by 2.93 billion dollars in dollar terms.
State and guaranteed external debt amounted to 5.14 trillion hryvnias, or 72.74% of the total amount, which corresponds to 122.9 billion US dollars. The domestic debt reached 1.93 trillion hryvnias, or 27.26%, which is equivalent to 46.07 billion US dollars.
The national debt of Ukraine amounted to 6.78 trillion hryvnias, which is 95.91% of the total amount of debt, or 162.08 billion US dollars. The state-guaranteed debt amounted to 289.08 billion hryvnias, or 4.09%, which is equal to 6.91 billion US dollars.
