Ukraine will introduce support services for the military, rescuers and police

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the creation of support services for military personnel, rescuers, police officers and their families, with the aim of increasing motivation and providing adequate assistance. About this reported permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.
The initiative belongs to the Ministry of Defense and provides for the creation of services that will provide the necessary support during the performance of official duties and help in solving issues related to military and civilian service.
According to the government’s decision, support services will work within budget allocations and focus on helping military, rescue, police and their families, especially those who are injured, ill, captured or killed in the line of duty.
The main tasks of support services include:
- Assisting those injured, injured, contused or ill in the line of duty and maintaining contact with their families.
- Assistance in passing military medical commissions and medical and social expert commissions.
- Accompaniment of family members of the dead, missing or captured, as well as assistance in the implementation of benefits and guarantees that belong to them.
- Assistance in the preparation of documents necessary to confirm the status of a person, on the basis of which the relevant benefits and compensations are provided.
- Participation in activities to support and accompany those who are released from service.
These services are designed to provide maximum support and protection to those who serve Ukraine, as well as their families in difficult life situations.
