Ukraine will lose without US support: Zelensky’s statement

If the US reduces military aid to Ukraine, it may lead to the defeat of our state. About this stated Volodymyr Zelenskyi in an interview for Fox News.
“If they cut (funding), I think we’re going to lose… We have the production, but it’s not enough to win. And I think that’s not enough to survive”, he noted.
Despite this, the president emphasized that Ukraine will fight for freedom even if support from Washington is reduced. He recalled that the most difficult period of the war was the first days after the start of the full-scale invasion, when Russian troops were in close proximity to Kyiv. However, the current situation, according to him, remains extremely difficult, and success depends on maintaining unity both within the country and with international allies.
Zelenskyi gave an interview during a visit to the Pokrovsky area, where he visited the positions of the 25th Separate Sicheslav Airborne Brigade. The President stressed the importance of preserving the partnership with Europe and, most importantly, with the USA, because the loss of this unity could be very dangerous for Ukraine. He also admitted that Ukraine needs external support, since its own production is not enough to win the war.
Separately, Zelensky mentioned the possible influence of Donald Trump, saying that despite the threat from the former US president to end financial aid to Ukraine, Trump could put pressure on Russian leader Vladimir Putin to end the war. Zelensky believes that the United States has much greater economic and political power than Russia and can play a key role in ending the conflict.
