Vladimir Putin will demand a 5-fold reduction in the size of the Ukrainian army. But the Ukrainian authorities will not allow this, reported Volodymyr Zelenskyi during a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The President noted that Putin, in the absence of clear and reliable security guarantees for Ukraine from the West, may demand a significant reduction in the size of the Ukrainian army. Today, Ukraine has formed a military force of 800,000 people and, with the support of Europe, is able to defend its territory and resist aggression from the Kremlin.
“The fastest way is to pressure the USA so that Ukraine is not in NATO and to pressure all allies to pressure us to reduce the army by 5 times. This is what Putin wants. We will not allow it to happen, but he will try to do so” – emphasized Zelensky.
