Ukraine will reduce prices for more than 100 medicines

In April 2025, the prices of more than 100 medicines will decrease in Ukraine. About this reported Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko based on the results of negotiations with Ukrainian manufacturers.
“More than 100 drugs will become more accessible thanks to a constructive dialogue with domestic manufacturers. The list is dynamic and will be expanded if additional agreements are reached, we are open to further dialogue. In addition, we are implementing measures to ensure transparent pricing and proper competition in the pharmaceutical market, so that every patient can receive drugs at a fair price.” – noted Lyashko.
The list includes drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, SARS, diseases of the respiratory, nervous and endocrine systems, dermatological and gastrointestinal disorders, as well as antipyretics.
The average reduction is 17%, with drug-dependent fluctuations ranging from 10% to more than 60%. The minister noted that the new decision is a continuation of the initiative, within which the prices of the 100 most popular drugs of Ukrainian manufacturers have already been reduced by 30% since March 1.

We will remind that on March 29, Viktor Lyashko announced that starting from April 1, 116 drugs will be cheaper in pharmacies:
“From April 1, price reductions for another 116 drugs will begin. The range of discounts will be from 52% to 5%. But 5% is for a very expensive drug, so there will also be a significant discount there on average. We reach 222 drugs, the average discount is fixed at 17%.”
