Ukrainian company Kvertus has developed a system to protect cars from drones

Ukrainian company Kvertus developed a mobile electronic warfare system designed to be installed on vehicles to protect them from drones. It is called AD CERBERUS and is capable of effective action at a distance of more than 100 meters – depending on the conditions of its use.

“AD CERBERUS is a EW device of modular design, which is installed on motor vehicles in order to protect them from attacks by radio-controlled UAVs. It has remote antennas and allows you to design EW systems with your own set of 1 to 12 bands”, – stated on the company’s website.

The system is based on a modular principle, which provides flexibility of configuration according to the needs of the user. You can assemble a full-fledged system from three modules or limit yourself to one, depending on the tasks.

“One module can have 1-4 frequency ranges of interference, of your choice. That is, we have a kind of “REB-Ikea”, adaptable and affordable,”– explained Kvertus.

To create obstacles, quadrifilar antennas are used, which provide dome coverage and reliable protection. As noted on the company’s website, the time of continuous operation of the system after each one-hour break reaches 12 hours, if it is connected to a standard 220 V AC network. At the same time, the device is ready to work in less than 30 seconds.

We will remind you that on July 21 it became known about the launch of mass production of another product of the company – the AD Berserk robot-REB. It has a range of 20 km, autonomy of up to 12 hours, and a maximum driving distance of 20 km.
