Ukrainian ‘unicorn’ airSlate announces layoffs of 100 employees

The IT company airSlate has announced the layoff of approximately 100 employees in various countries, including the Ukrainian office. The company explains this decision by the need for restructuring. About this informs DOU.

The company currently employs about 800 people, of which more than 600 are in Ukraine. As the publication notes, employees received an e-mail from CEO Boris Shakhnovich, in which changes in the company’s structure were announced. The main goal of the restructuring, he said, is to give more autonomy to the teams, especially the product teams.

“Change is always difficult, but necessary for the future success of the company and the opening of new opportunities for growth. Overall, we see significant potential in all of our products, and we believe that with the new position of the company we can accelerate this growth even more.” – says the letter.

Employees who are subject to layoffs will receive the following compensation packages:

  • comprehensive weekend benefits;
  • continued medical insurance;
  • the possibility of buying a laptop at a reduced price;
  • employment support and help with establishing contacts.
