JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” launches the Supplier Portal at the address suppliers.uz.gov.ua. About this reported Oleksandr Pertsovsky, the chairman of the board of the company.
“They promised – they did: they launched the supplier portal: suppliers.uz.gov.ua. Despite all the current difficulties, Ukrzaliznytsia is rushing forward – and is the second buyer in the public procurement system of Ukraine after the structures of the Ministry of Defense. This year alone, we plan to purchase more than UAH 50 billion, attract more than 2,000 suppliers.”Pertsovsky emphasized.
He reminded that the creation of the platform was announced at the end of last year at the “Rail Partnership” conference with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba, where “Ukrzaliznytsia” promised to provide businesses with a convenient tool with all the necessary information.
The online site should help manufacturers and suppliers to better navigate the needs of “Ukrzaliznytsia”, familiarize themselves with technical requirements in advance, provide feedback and more easily participate in tenders. Central procurement plans, product requirements, terms of cooperation, a form for submission of proposals and current announcements from Prozorro are already available on the portal – all collected in one resource.
“If you are a manufacturer or supplier, have something to offer or interesting ideas – come, see, comment, join. We will soon add new procurement categories and more tools to make it even more convenient for you to work with us.” Pertsovsky noted.
He added that the results of Ukrzaliznytsia purchases will be regularly updated on the platform. The company has already announced almost 6 thousand lots with a total expected value of 32 billion hryvnias. 66% of auctions were successfully completed, the average number of bidders was 1.9. Thanks to competition, the company managed to save about 1 billion hryvnias.
