“Ukrzaliznytsia” will launch a new Intercity+ train on the route between Kyiv and Odesa

“Ukrzaliznytsia” made a decision to launch a new permanent route of the Intercity+ high-speed train between Kyiv and Odesa, as announced by the carrier itself. The move is in response to strong demand among passengers who regularly travel on this popular route. The importance of this decision is emphasized by the fact that the new train will run on a permanent basis, which will significantly improve transport connections between the two largest cities of Ukraine.
The first departure of this train is scheduled for September 6, and passengers can already prepare for their journeys, as tickets will be available on various platforms. “Ukrzaliznytsia” notes that tickets can be purchased not only on the company’s official website, but also through a mobile application, chatbot and railway station ticket offices. This will make the purchase process as convenient as possible for passengers, allowing them to choose the most convenient way to purchase tickets.
The new train received the number 763/764, which emphasizes its special importance in the network of Ukrainian railways. “Ukrzaliznytsia” noted that before the launch of this train, a thorough assessment of the situation was carried out: all factors were taken into account, the needs of passengers were studied, and as a result, a decision was made about the need to launch a new route.
Regarding the schedule, the train will depart from Kyiv three times a week: on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 14:56. Arrival in Odesa is planned for 22:28 of the same day. This train will depart from Odesa on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays at 6:10 a.m. and arrive in Kyiv at 1:49 p.m. This schedule was created for the maximum convenience of passengers traveling between the capital and the southern pearl of Ukraine.
Regarding the purchase of tickets, Ukrzaliznytsia recommends using their official mobile application. Thanks to this application, passengers can check the availability of tickets in real time, which makes the booking process much easier, especially during peak periods when the demand for trips increases significantly.
