Telecom operator “Vodafone Ukraine” officially joined to the initiative of self-regulation in the field of artificial intelligence, launched by leading Ukrainian IT companies.
“Joining the Voluntary Code of Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence is an important step in our strategy for the development of AI technologies. As a telecom operator with global expertise, we strive to innovate responsibly, taking care of the interests of customers and society in general.”, – said Serhiy Boryslavskyi, director of the digital solutions and platforms department of Vodafone Ukraine.
The operator is already actively using AI in its business processes. In particular, a proprietary AI model analyzes calls and provides recommendations to improve service, and also helps to reduce the load on the network during power outages. In addition, the company introduced the SON (Self-Organizing Network) technology, which provides effective setting of network parameters.
The operator’s immediate plans include the further development of AI solutions. In particular, the company plans to introduce technologies to protect customers from fraud, simplify access of employees to the internal knowledge base, as well as use artificial intelligence in the field of retail service.
We would like to remind you that in December 2024, Ukrainian IT companies signed the Voluntary Code of Conduct on the Ethical and Responsible Use of AI, proving their readiness to develop innovative products that respect human rights.
