Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Great Britain Keir Starmer

On March 1, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi arrived in London, where he met with the Prime Minister of Great Britain Keir Starmer at 10 Downing Street. About this informs BBC.

The visit took place the day after his talks with US President Donald Trump, which ended in a dispute, due to which Zelensky left the White House early and canceled all planned events in the US.

Arriving at the meeting with the British prime minister, Zelensky did not answer the journalists’ questions about the possibility of reconciliation with Trump. Together with Starmer, they only shook hands in front of the cameras, after which they immediately headed to the residence.

During the negotiations, the Prime Minister of Great Britain confirmed his unwavering support for Ukraine, assuring that it will last as long as necessary. Zelensky expressed gratitude for this help, and also noted the invitation of King Charles III to the meeting on March 2, calling Great Britain a reliable partner and friend of Ukraine.

As part of his visit, Zelensky also plans to meet with the British monarch and participate in a meeting of European leaders dedicated to further support for Ukraine.
