President of Ukraine Zelensky revealed the details of negotiations with the USA regarding rare earth metals. The subsoil treaty was not agreed upon, as it does not include security guarantees for Ukraine. Lawyers are currently working on the document. “The document was unclear, it was clear only in one thing – we must give 50% of what is listed in the document. By the way, we are not afraid of this. I am ready for the publicity of this document.”, – noted Zelensky.
According to him, he pointed out to US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant that the document was not ready:
“There is no word about security guarantees. And already in the second meeting with Vance, we agreed that there might be something about it, but no one knows what.”
He proposed to clearly define the percentages in the document:
“I protect Ukraine and cannot sell our state. I said: “Let’s write down certain guarantees, and we will draw up a memorandum with specific percentages.”
However, according to him, he was offered only 50%, which the president refused.
