Zelenskyy signed laws extending martial law and mobilization until November 5

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed Laws No. 4525-IX and No. 4526-IX, which extend martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days — until November 5. About this reported press service of the Verkhovna Rada.

“According to the Laws, the period of martial law has been extended from 05:30 on August 7, 2025 for 90 days. The period of general mobilization has also been extended for the corresponding period. Such decisions are justified by the ongoing armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.”, says the message.

We will remind you that on July 15, 2025, the Verkhovna Rada for the sixteenth time supported the decision to extend martial law and mobilization in conditions of full-scale war.

On February 24, 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced the introduction of martial law throughout Ukraine. On the same day, the Verkhovna Rada approved the relevant decision.

Also, on February 24, the representative of the DPSU Andriy Demchenko stated that due to the beginning of Russian aggression and the introduction of martial law in the country, restrictions on traveling abroad for men aged 18 to 60 began to apply. Since then, the terms of martial law and mobilization have been repeatedly extended.
