President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported about the results of his negotiations with the special representative of the US President on Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg.
“Meeting with General Kellogg. Good conversation, lots of details. Grateful to the United States for all the help and bipartisan support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.” – noted Zelensky.
According to him, during the meeting they discussed in detail the situation at the front, the return of Ukrainian citizens from Russian captivity and the issue of effective security guarantees. The president also emphasized that Ukraine is ready to conclude a strong and mutually beneficial investment and security agreement with the US president.
“We offered the fastest and most constructive way to achieve the result. Our team is ready to work 24/7”, — emphasized Zelensky.
He expressed confidence that Ukraine is capable of ensuring a stable and lasting peace that will not allow the aggressor to start a war again:
“Success unites. Everyone in the world needs success in relations with the United States. Thank you General Kellogg for working together to achieve important results.”
At the same time, Zelensky’s meeting with Kellogg took place without communication with the media at the request of the American side.
“At the request of the American side, the format of the meeting involves protocol shooting and does not involve statements or questions”, — explained the spokesman of the President of Ukraine Serhii Nikiforov.
