The increase in electricity tariffs for the population is connected with the need to restore the energy infrastructure damaged as a result of systematic attacks by the Russian military. However, even a noticeable increase in prices does not guarantee that there will be fewer power outages. On the contrary – in winter we can stay without light for 10-12 hours.
Even worse news for those who use electric heating, because they will have to go without heat for hours.

“The situation is as follows, you and I must understand (and this is the most important moment now, even more important than the electricity tariff itself) that the increase in the electricity tariff will still not make it possible to have 24 hours a day with light in 2024. The situation is actually We can already see this at the beginning of summer and, unfortunately, it will be even more difficult in winter. At a temperature of -10 degrees Celsius, we can be with light for only 12-14 hours and, relatively speaking, we can be without it for 10 hours a day. electricity,” said Mr. Nagornyak.
