A bus with Ukrainians overturned in Poland: 17 people were injured

Two serious road traffic accidents occurred near Warsaw’s Frederic Chopin Airport. A bus carrying citizens of Ukraine overturned in one of them. A total of 17 people were injured, informs RMF24.

The accidents happened on the S2 expressway. Initially, the intercity bus carrying 26 passengers, including Ukrainians and Belarusians, overturned on its side at the exit from S2 to S7 near the Pulavskaya interchange after hitting an energy barrier. The second accident occurred already after the arrival of the rescuers – a truck crashed into a car of the “David” Volunteer Fire Brigade. As a result of the collision, both drivers were injured.

A total of 17 people, including a child, were taken to the hospital. Currently, two people are known to be seriously injured. Subsequently, the spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration Yatsen Dobzynskiy confirmed this information.

23 fire departments, including specialized medical and technical teams from fire departments No. 8 and No. 10, as well as several ambulance teams, were involved in liquidation of the consequences of accidents. Police are investigating both incidents.
