A fifth-grader from Lviv bought a quadcopter for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Ukrainian children, even in difficult times of war, demonstrate great strength of spirit and patriotism, actively participating in the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite their young age, they find ways to help the military by donating their own funds, organizing charity events and participating in volunteer initiatives. Their indifference and determination is a powerful testimony that Ukrainians are a nation of invincibles.
One such example is the story of Roman Terlych, a fifth-grader from Lviv. The boy received 50,000 hryvnias for winning the Olympics and spent this money on the purchase of a Mavic quadcopter for the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. He made this decision on his own, believing that the military needs drones more than his personal expenses. About this informs Lviv Regional Military Administration.
Such initiatives among children are not unique. In the Stryi district, students of the Vasyl Stasyuk Gymnasium held a borscht festival, during which they collected 60,000 hryvnias and transferred these funds to the needs of the military. And in Zolochiv, during the charity event “Give Love to the World”, which took place on February 14, it was possible to collect more than 93 thousand hryvnias. These funds will be used to purchase FPV drones for the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh.
Despite the difficulties, Ukrainians continue to fight, and the children prove that the future of the country is in safe hands.
