A survey on Ukraine’s membership in the EU has been launched in Hungary

In Hungary started online voting within the so-called survey on Ukraine’s membership in the European Union, initiated by Viktor Orban’s government.
All Hungarians had the opportunity to participate in the online referendum on Ukraine’s accession to the EU. To participate, you need to enter your e-mail in a special form, after which you will receive a link to vote.
“Ukraine’s entry into the EU is an extremely important issue that will affect all of us and can determine our future for decades. The government wants to give every citizen of Hungary the opportunity to express their opinion on this matter.” – the letter says.
1.5 million people have already taken part in offline voting and 17,000 complaints related to “lost or stolen ballots” have been filed.
It will be recalled that in mid-April, the leader of the opposition party Tysa, Peter Madyar, announced the results of an alternative survey of citizens regarding the European perspective of Ukraine. According to him, almost 60% of respondents expressed support for Ukraine’s accession to the EU. On March 29, the Hungarian government announced that a list of propaganda “counter-arguments” regarding the inexpediency of Ukraine’s accession to the EU will be sent to citizens along with ballots for the survey.
