After the drone attack, the mayor of Cherkasy called for an urgent turn off of gas appliances
As a result of the drone attack in Cherkasy, one of the gas supply facilities was damaged. The local authorities urge residents of the regional center and nearby settlements to turn off gas appliances urgently. About this reported city mayor Anatoly Bondarenko.
“Shakhedna” attack lasted quite a long time in the city of Cherkasy. It is clear that there is damage to public infrastructure. In connection with the emergency works at one of the gas supply facilities, I would like to appeal to all consumers to urgently turn off gas appliances and not to use gas in their private homes., – said Bondarenko.
He also noted that additional information will be provided during the day. Cherkasy OVA reported, that enterprises and organizations in Cherkassy, Khutoriv, Sloboda, Verguniv, Nechaivka, Geronimivka, Khatsyok and Ruska Polyana should stop consuming gas.
“Due to urgent repair work, we ask local residents to stop gas consumption, with the taps on boilers and gas stoves turned off”, – emphasized the head of Cherkasy OVA Ihor Taburets.
We will remind that on the night of April 27 there were explosions in Cherkasy region. Russian troops attacked the region with attack drones. Air defense forces in the region destroyed 15 “martyrs”.
