Akhmetov hid his wife, two children, and property for 18 years: Investigation.Info

For 18 years, businessman Rinat Akhmetov did not disclose his relationship with Alina Lytvynenko, their two joint children, as well as information about elite real estate and land plots near Kyiv and in France. This is stated in the investigation, published Investigation. Info.

According to the materials, in 2007 Alina Lytvynenko, a native of Donetsk, became the owner of an estate in the village of Kozyn (Koncha-Zaspa), purchased from the British Virgin Islands company “Medco Services Limited”, which is associated with Rinat Akhmetov’s System Capital Management (SCM) group.

Journalists received a copy of the sales contract and analyzed its content together with a lawyer. The document raised doubts about the true nature of the deal. The lawyer of the anti-corruption center “Mezha” Mykola Salimov drew attention to the fact that according to the terms of the contract, the payment for the house could last for eight years, however, there are no points in the document about the schedule of payments or installments, and the ownership of the house was transferred the very next day after signing. The specialist called this practice atypical for the real estate market.

The agreement was concluded by representatives of the parties who have connections with SCM and Akhmetov’s close circle. Lytvynenko was 25 years old at the time of the purchase of the house with an area of 1157 m². There is no information about Alina Lytvynenko in open sources — journalists could not find her profiles in social networks, contacts or e-mail, but they received two photos of her. After purchasing the property, she began to improve the area: new buildings appeared around it, including a boiler room, a gazebo, a bathhouse, security and garden paths.

At the same time, Lytvynenko opened a beauty salon in Donetsk, and since 2013 she has owned expensive cars, including Range Rover, Bentley, Mercedes GL 500 and Porsche Cayenne. In 2017, she became the owner of the Kozin-Lux company, which was previously owned by Akhmetov. According to journalists, the company still has almost 12 hectares of land in Kozyna on the bank of the Dnieper.

Between 2014 and 2017, two children were born to Akhmetov and Lytvynenko — Daniyar and Damira. The businessman never mentioned them publicly. It is known that 11-year-old Daniyar and 7-year-old Damira are co-owners of the French company “ALMARIN PROPERTIES”, which owns a chalet in Courchevel with an area of 217 m² worth almost 78 million euros.

According to the latest available report, the director of the company is Anna Nechay, the daughter of Yuriy Voropaev, who is associated with Akhmetov’s legal team. In the documents, Rinat Akhmetov and Alina Lytvynenko are indicated as the parents of the children, their signatures are at the end of the document.

The SCM company responded to the journalists’ request:

“We do not comment on personal life. The only thing we can say is that Mr. Akhmetov’s marital status has not changed.”

Until now, only two sons of Akhmetov – Damir and Almir – were publicly known. In a conversation with the Swiss publication Le Temps three years ago, the businessman mentioned only them. There was no information about other relationships or children, except with his wife Lilia Akhmetova (Smirnova), in the public space.
