Ali Khamenei appeared in public for the first time since the start of the Iran-Israel war

The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, appeared in public on July 5 for the first time since the beginning of the 12-day war between Iran and Israel. About this informs Associated Press.
Iranian state television showed Khamenei greeting worshipers at the Imam Khomeini Mosque in Tehran ahead of the Shia holiday of Ashura, commemorating Imam Hussein, grandson of the Prophet Muhammad.
In the released footage, the supreme leader asks senior cleric Mahmoud Karimi to perform the song “O Iran”, which gained popularity during the latest conflict with Israel.
Khamenei had previously appeared in a recorded video message for the last time since the end of the 12-day fighting that began on June 13 that claimed the lives of Iran’s military commanders and scientists linked to its nuclear program. Khamenei gave three televised addresses during the conflict. This led to speculation that he may be hiding in a bunker.
Iran International reported, that immediately after the Israeli attacks on Tehran on June 13, Khamenei and his family were evacuated to an underground bunker in the north-eastern district of the capital — Lavizan.
