Applications for “a thousand from Zelensky”: the government has set a start date for submission
From December 1, 2024, Ukrainians will be able to apply for winter support through the “Action” application. This application is installed on 70% of smartphones in the country.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during the telethon. He noted that by December 1, it is planned to launch a large-scale service that will allow submitting an application for support through the application. Fedorov also emphasized that they are actively working to ensure that the infrastructure can withstand a large flow of applications.
According to the minister, this service will be one of the largest and most popular launched in recent years. At the moment, “Diya” has 21 million users, and 70% of smartphones in Ukraine already have this application installed.
We will remind that at the end of October, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy decided to pay 1 thousand hryvnias to each citizen from the state budget. The government agreed plastic bag of “winter support” on November 15, establishing the conditions under which Ukrainians will be able to receive payments and where they can be spent.
The program covers not only adults, but also children, so the Cabinet of Ministers has developed a mechanism by which parents can issue a payment for a child. Payments will be made to the National Cashback card, and the funds can be spent during 2025 on certain Ukrainian goods and services.
