Applications for business grants have started in Ukraine

In Ukraine, applications for a grant program aimed at supporting micro and small enterprises in the field of energy sustainability during the war have begun. About this reported Serhii Naumov, chairman of the board of “Oschadbank”.

The program is financed by the governments of Norway and Germany as part of a project aimed at strengthening the energy sustainability of Ukrainian enterprises. Its implementation is carried out by the German company “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)” within the framework of the “ReACT4UA” initiative.

Financial support is targeted at companies most affected by the destruction of the energy infrastructure. Grants will help introduce alternative energy sources and increase the sustainability of enterprises.

The program provides for 80 grants of 10,000 euros (equivalent in hryvnia) for micro-enterprises and 42 grants of 20,000 euros for small enterprises, which are issued together with a bank loan, covering up to 40% of its amount.

Micro and small enterprises that are registered before November 1, 2023, have no tax debt and have a positive credit history can apply. The selection of participants will be carried out on the basis of a rating system, taking into account the level of energy dependence, the field of activity, the quality of alternative energy sources and the efficiency of the use of funds.

Applications are accepted until March 2, 2025 on the portal of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (FDP).
