ARMA puts up for auction first 35 paintings from Medvedchuk’s private collection

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has announced the start of the sale of a collection of paintings by former MP Viktor Medvedchuk. The first 35 lots have already been placed on Prozorro.Sale. This was announced by the Head of ARMA Olena Duma.

Anyone planning to participate in the auction is reminded that bids will be accepted until 20:00 on 12 November 2024, and the auction itself will take place on 13 November.

Olena Duma noted that starting from 31 October, new lots will be added to Prozorro.Sale every day until all 136 paintings belonging to the traitor are put up for auction.

It should be noted that the entire collection of Medvedchuk’s paintings is divided into two parts: one valued at almost UAH 4 million and sold through Prozorro.Sale, and the other, consisting of 149 paintings of cultural value, will be transferred to Ukrainian museums.

We also remind you that on 14 October, ARMA held an auction to sell the last seized watch from Medvedchuk’s collection. This auction was held under the scheme of a hybrid Dutch auction with a gradual price reduction. The starting price was UAH 461,231.50, and the final bid was UAH 285 thousand.

The first auction of Medvedchuk’s watches took place in early September, when 8 out of 20 watches were sold for around UAH 3.6 million.

The second auction, held on 25 September, brought in another UAH 3.3 million from the sale of 11 of Medvedchuk’s watches.

The total value of all 20 watches was estimated at UAH 10.6 million.
