New border crossing rules for conscripts enter into force today: DPS
The relevant document can be in both electronic and paper form.
As of today, the rules for crossing the state border of Ukraine for conscript citizens have changed. About this reported State Border Service (SBS).
From now on, the presence of a military registration document is mandatory for all men aged 18 to 60 when crossing the border. This document can be both in paper and electronic form.
“In the absence of a military registration document, border guards refuse to leave Ukraine. Also, the reason for refusal may be the presence in the Unified State Register of conscripts, conscripts and reservists of information about the search for a person by the National Police.”, — explained in the DPSU.
The department drew attention to the fact that men who have the right to cross the border due to a postponement of the draft or exclusion from military registration due to health conditions must have relevant information in military registration documents or a certificate in the form specified in Appendix 6 of the Order carrying out conscription of citizens for military service during mobilization in a special period.
The Ministry of Defense also announced that the police will be able to detain conscripts who have not updated their personal data by July 16. Detention is possible only if such citizens commit certain offenses.
After the arrest, the conscripts will be taken directly to the territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCC and SP) to be brought to administrative responsibility and ensure that they fulfill their military duty.
