As a result of a car explosion in Dnipro, an official was killed, the incident was qualified as a terrorist attack

On April 4, an official died in Dnipro as a result of a car explosion. National Police qualified this event as a terrorist act.
The explosion was reported to the police around 07:40. To clarify the circumstances of the explosion, a joint investigative commission was established with the participation of all law enforcement agencies.
The first deputy head of the National Police, the head of the Main Investigative Department Maksym Tsutskiridze, as well as representatives of the State Security Service in Dnipropetrovsk Region, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor’s Office worked at the scene. Unfortunately, the injured official died in hospital a few hours after the incident.
On the fact of the explosion, criminal proceedings have been opened under part. 3 Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — a terrorist act. The law enforcement officers conducted an inspection of the scene, collected material evidence and are carrying out a complex of investigative and operational actions to establish all the circumstances of the crime and the persons involved in its commission.
At the operational meeting, three main versions were defined: a crime committed on the order of the Russian special services with the aim of destabilizing the situation in the country; personal conflict between the victim and the possible attacker; as well as circumstances related to the professional activity of the deceased.
For data sources of UNN, as a result of the explosion, the head of the Left Bank Administration of the City Council, Yuriy Fedko, died.
