“There is damage to civil infrastructure, in particular a high-rise residential building, a shopping center and shops. Three people were injured, among them minors. As a result of the Russian attack, powerful fires broke out in three locations. There are also local emergency power outages in the Primorsky, Peresypsky and Kyiv districts of Odessa.”, the message says.
For in words of the mayor Gennady Trukhanov, the southern districts of Odesa were under attack. Civilian infrastructure was attacked, in particular, business facilities — the local “Epicentr” shopping center. Due to the massive strike, emergency power cuts were introduced in the city. They are local and covered the Primorsky, Peresypsky and Kyiv districts of Odesa.
“More than 70 rescuers took part in the liquidation of the consequences, 22 units of fire equipment were involved, as well as 5 volunteers and 1 unit of equipment”, – clarified in the State Emergency Service.
Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Counter-Disinformation Center at the NSDC, noted that the Russian occupiers have changed the tactics of using drones to attack Ukrainian cities. In particular, the enemy is trying to use large numbers of drones to try to overwhelm the air defense system, mobile groups, and electronic warfare.
