In the evening of April 3, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv with attack drones. So far, 4 dead and 35 wounded are known, informs the mayor of the city Igor Terekhov.
“We have preliminary information about two strikes on the city of Shahedami, in particular on the Novobavarsky district. Kharkiv has been under attack by combat enemy UAVs for the last few days. Be careful! There is a fire at the site of one of the hits by an enemy UAV. The air attack on Kharkiv continues, be careful!” – the message says.
According to Trekhov, a hit to an apartment building was recorded in the Novobavar district. According to preliminary data, there are children among the victims.
“There may be people under the rubble of one of the high-rise buildings, where the occupiers targeted with a drone. A search and rescue operation is currently underway. Also, as a result of the enemy attack, the roof of the high-rise building with an area of 500 square meters caught fire, seven cars and two apartments with a total area of 70 square meters caught fire.”, — noted Oleg Sinegubov, head of Kharkiv ODO.
Later, he specified that the number of dead as a result of the drone attack had increased to four. 35 people were injured.
“As a result of hits in the residential building and administrative building, four centers of fire arose, which covered more than 600 m²”, — added in the State Emergency Service.
